The Southbury Garden Club founded in 1959, is an educational, charitable, nonprofit organization with 72 members. The Club is affiliated with The National Garden Clubs, Inc., The Federated Garden Clubs of Connecticut, Inc., and The New England Region of National Garden Clubs, Inc. The goals of the club are to promote interest in horticulture, further the conservation of natural resources, increase knowledge in the artistic use of plant material, and assist in civic programs.
